D.R. Hamblin

Raised by a single mother and fathered by Saturday morning cartoons and plenty of sci-fi movies, Louisville KY born nerd, D.R. Hamblin has always spent more time with his head in the clouds inhabiting other realities, than here on Earth. The seed to create was planted at a young age, when he'd spend the majority of the time writing and drawing.

Growing up, there was a strong desire to show the world these fantastical images, creatures and planets. With no outlet, and working full time as a teen, these unsatiated desires only grew and grew.

As an adult, when talks of change weren't enough, he escaped the monotony of everyday life by taking a random cross country trek that landed him in Colorful Colorado. After years, plenty of trial and error, and a lot of battling personal demons, luCid, the first installment of an expansive interconnected universe was published.

With a nose to the grindstone, support from friends like long time big sis Kaitlin Edwards, anxiety and the fear of failure as a motivator, D.R. plans to continue working on this ever expanding universe.
